response from Mr. group chairman Bernd Friedrich to the letter by Ms Anja King

Dear Mrs King,

your letter dated 06.03.2010 ("City Council: Property policies instead of nonsense"), I have taken note.

If you should have been actually present in the said session, I am intrigued by your approach.
Presumably you missed the fact that it is discussing the lifting of an embargo in the 2010 budget, more than 50,000 € for the rehabilitation of the Franciscan monastery acted. A project that due to the tight fiscal situation at present is not financially feasible, the identification of restoration of the monastery will be increased in a six-figure sum and not in the remainder of the renovation budget in 2011 and 2012 is provided.

this I have shown objectively from the perspective of the citizens of Landshut our negative attitude. Also, it would have been appropriate, you would have criticized this waste of taxpayer money in your letter as well.

In a speech accusing me your comrade, Councillor Haucke, a false statement that I was notified by a heckling.
city councils are elected representatives of the Citizens who represent their interests. The draw gives you the right but not false claims and colleague to the appearance of a city council colleagues-harm. Each City Council / Councillor has the right to freedom of expression, provided we stick to the truth. The fact that you take with your letter indirectly party for your comrade, as I suspect it honors. But then please stay at a realistic consideration of the processes, without polemics. The assertion that "Mr. Friedrich has in the last plenary driven once again to the top ..." is untrue, slanderous and offensive. belongs to a

democratic decision-making and decision making, a healthy culture of debate.

Only through your one-sided view that you provide through your letter to the public, you probably make the public aware of conditions that seem to come from your personal sensitivity and to serve party interests of your comrades. You should think about whether they harm not only by your letter probably review the reputation of all city council.
last but not least I would like to point out that speech and freedom of expression in our republic, a democratic right, as stated by Mr Klaus Pauli correctly in this session, and you and I can be happy that we live in a free democratic Federal Republic live.

Sincerely

Bernd O. Friedrich
Group Chairman
